History
To light a little, to charm a lot.
The beginning
Charlies Candles founder Charlotte Lagae began experimenting with making her own scented candles. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion. Testing fragrances, finding distinctive vessels, and perfecting each pour felt like second nature.

Before long, friends, family, and colleagues were leading demand, propelling Charlies Candles to heights that were perhaps unexpected. Today, the same foundations still define our work: crafted with care, unique combinations of scent and style, and a consistent focus on quality that stays affordable.

Our factory in Belgium
Our candles are professionally poured in our Wingene atelier, where craft and attention to detail guide every step. We work with unique vessels that are created in-house and sourced with intention, or developed in collaboration with artists, while treating each collection as something to be proud of.
We take the time to test, refine, and perfect our combinations until everything feels right. Only when a product meets our standards for quality and finish do we bring it forward to our customers and partners.
